To think I used to like this guy. What do you think? Esp. in the wake of the Olympic slanty-eyes gaffe? Nothing like this to wake u up in the morning. I wish people would recognize that these kind of things insult and the asian populace is very, very tired of it by now. Thoughts? Good or bad humor?

Wayne — The hits just keep on coming, don’t they? This kind of “humor” is extremely lazy and ignorant, especially for a “professional” who is supposed to make a living from being creative and/or thought-provoking. It’s like he had writer’s block (or whatever is the equivalent for a comic strip artist) and just went with whatever cheap laugh he could thought he could get.
never been a huge fan of this comic, but this kind of racist crap assures that i won’t ever be.
I liked this strip a lot, it was one of my Sunday faves.
But for some reason I sensed a lot of spite and borderline rancor in this (and this coming from an artist who can judge line quality). Is it possible Mike Peters is angry with asians for some reason?
